It’s not uncommon to be in a room full of people and hear a loud explosion.
But when that happens, it’s usually for a reason.
That’s why, in this week’s edition of Fox News Channel’s Fire Fighting Lecture, Fire Fighting Instructor Brian Smith teaches how you can prevent a gas explosion in the future.
We’ve heard a lot about what can go wrong with a gas leak, but it’s actually the most common type of incident we encounter in the United States, according to Firefighter and founder of Fire Fighting Gas Company, Mike Smith.
And while most incidents result in some type of injury, the most important thing to do is keep calm, stay away from anything combustible and don’t panic, he says.
In the video above, you can hear Smith tell you how to prevent a fire from going off in the first place.
