Firefighters responded to a blaze in Dartmouth on Sunday night, and the fire was quickly extinguished.

The blaze started in a shed at a fire station, and by early Monday morning, the fire had been contained to the shed.

CBC News has been unable to independently confirm the fire is related to the World War II commemoration.

The fire was extinguished by firefighters from the Dartmouth Fire Department.

The department said the cause of the blaze was under investigation.
