Firefighters in Oregon have put out a fire that threatened several homes in the city of Willamette Falls.

Officials say the blaze started Saturday morning on a lawn near the intersection of I-5 and North County Road 459.

A crew from the county fire department helped put out the blaze and have been working around the clock to extinguish it.

It’s the latest blaze to hit the small Oregon town of 20,000 people.
