JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.
— JEFFREY Coulson Jr., a father of five who died after being hit by a car on a rural road in Mississippi last month, will be paid for the funeral.
His parents, the Rev. and Mrs. William Coulson and their son, the late JEFFERY, will pay for the service, according to a statement from the family.
JEFFrey, who was just 13, was killed Feb. 18 after the Ford F-150 he was in crashed into another vehicle.
A memorial service is scheduled for April 14 in New Orleans.
Coulson had not been paid for a funeral.

William and Mary Coulson told the Associated Press that J. J.’s funeral will be private.
was a former member of the U.S. Army Reserve and was deployed to Afghanistan as a sniper.
J-J.’s parents were married in 2016 and have two young daughters.
JJ. grew up in Mississippi, where his father, William, was an Army Ranger.
His mother, Mary, worked in a supermarket in the small town of St. Louis.
